So how long have I been an artist? Pretty much all of my life, but I've only been full time since 2021, following a life in engineering.
But one thing has remained a constant...cars, motorbikes, anything motorsport and a natural abilty to draw or paint.
So following 'the pandemic' I decided that life is too short and it was time to go headlong into doing what I love. I'm 53, so it's about time!
So I have brought my art and my passion for anything with an engine together. I use a combination of media from graphite and markers to coloured pencil and gel pen to produce realistic drawings of clients vehicles.
I also love to produce motorsport artworks which are available as prints.
Whilst being a professional artist, photography also plays a part in my day to day life. I shoot officially for a handful of car clubs across the UK including Fords RS Owners club, and am regularly commissioned to photograph drivers as they take part in Track days at various UK circuits.
I especially love to build relationships with motorsport teams, producing presentation artworks of race cars/bikes with their drivers/riders, whilst passing on prints of said artwork for the team to sell on to fans and followers. Win-win all round!
Art aside, I'm a drummer in a Rock/Indie/Punk/metal covers band. I love the energy!
I'm married to Celia, with a grown up family of five plus little ones between us.
And we have an adorable white puddy tat (cat) called Luna. She keeps me sane!"
